Executive Vice President - The Curtis Group

Wendy McGrady, Executive Vice President of The Curtis Group, has more than 30 years of development and marketing experience.

In her work with clients, she works diligently to determine the unique strategic direction for every campaign. She enjoys leading her clients and their volunteers to a fuller, more strategic view of fundraising; one which connects stakeholders to their passions, expands the organization’s capacity for philanthropy, and raises significant dollars.

She is a frequent speaker on developing nonprofit fundraising capacity, has served on the faculty of Tidewater Community College’s Academy for Nonprofit Excellence, University of Richmond’s Institute on Philanthropy, and has spoken at the Hudson Institute, as well as many Association of Fundraising Professionals chapters and professional organizations.

Wendy was selected by Inside Business in 2001 as a top “40 Under 40” honoree, and in 2006 as a recipient of the Women in Business Achievement Award. She is a past president of her local AFP Chapter, co-chaired her AFP statewide conference in 2011 and currently serves as a board member of The Giving Institute, and Co-Chair of the Giving USA Editorial Review Board.
