Launching a new company- let alone a comprehensive CRM/database for nonprofits- is hard work. There is so many moving pieces it’s easy to forget why you started the company in the first place.

In my case, it was simple. After a 25 year run with DonorPerfect, a new majority owner emerged and made changes.

And those changes did not include me.

But no worries! Having launched SimplyFundraisingCRM, we have paying clients and are rapidly growing. But between all of the meetings, hiring, coding, marketing, and sales calls, you get this email on a Friday afternoon from one of your first clients launched months ago:


Just a short note on this lovely Friday to say how much I LOVE and appreciate the simplicity of your Simplyfundraising database. In times past, I would feel panicky seeing a pile of donation letters in my future (especially when we are very busy with back-to-back events and time was/is tight)…now, I kick them out in record time. Its simple to add new donors, its simple to add gifts, and when I make a mistake on a letter, it is simple to get to it, edit and then re-print. The envelope feature also makes that task soooooo much quicker. 
I am grateful to you and your team for creating this database with the user as your most important consideration. It is truly appreciated!!!
